Privacy policy
AiScora (aiscora.com) is an online testing service for instructors and students. This policy describes the data the website and the AiScora Android app handle.
Account data
When you register or a school creates an account, we store your name, email address, hashed password, role, institute, class, and enrollment number.
Schoolwork
We store tests, answers, scores, and answer-sheet or test-paper photos. Files are kept on the application server or in private object storage.
Android camera
The Android app uses the device camera only when an instructor taps Take photo. The photo is added to that answer sheet or test paper and uploaded to AiScora. The app does not save those photos to the device gallery.
Grading
Students' written answers and page images are sent to an external third-party AI provider, under contract, to grade and process them.
Cookies
We use a sign-in session cookie and a theme preference cookie. We do not sell personal data.
Retention and deletion
Account data is kept until you delete the account. Deletion removes your name, email, password, and enrollment number. Tests, grades, and answer sheets that belong to an institute stay attached to a record named Deleted user. Students and instructors can delete an account from the delete account page. Student accounts may be created by a school; the school or the student can use that page.
