Data safety
Draft — pending legal review
Placeholder text for review. This is not a final notice under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and it is not final legal wording.

Personal data
Placeholder categories: name, email, hashed password, role, institute, class, enrollment number, an optional parent email, tests, answers, scores, and answer-sheet or test-paper photos. See the privacy policy for the same categories in shorter form.
Purpose
Placeholder: the data would be used to run accounts, deliver tests, grade work, show results, and email a parent when a parent email is stored and results are published. A lawful purpose statement still needs legal review.
Children and verifiable parental consent
Placeholder for the DPDP Act, 2023: a student who says they are under 18 cannot finish self-registration until they tick a parent or guardian consent box. The account stores the time of that tick. An optional parent email can be added at signup, by an institute when it creates a student, or later on the student profile.
That checkbox is not verifiable parental consent. A real process would still need a way to confirm the parent's identity. Do not describe the current box as compliance.
Rights of data principals
Placeholder: the Act contemplates access, correction, erasure, and a grievance route, and a nomination right. Students and instructors can already use the delete account page. The rest of this rights section is still a draft.
Grievance
Placeholder: grievances would go to the grievance officer named above, or to admin@logicaisol.com. Use the contact page until a reviewed notice replaces this one.
Retention
Placeholder: account data is kept until the account is deleted. Institute tests, grades, and answer sheets can remain attached to a record named Deleted user. A retention schedule still needs legal review.
